Summary:

Some people of mixed occupations somehow get transported to a magical world filled with elves.  An elf priestess is going to send them home with a spell, however, the spell gets screwed up and as she casts it, it gets scattered across the world and imprinted onto the skin of different elves.  The travelers must go about and find these spell pieces by stripping the clothes off the elves.

Review:

Yup, the summary says it all.  This anime is literally about stripping the clothes off of elves in order to find the pieces of a spell that was supposed to send home these once ordinary people.  That’s just about it.  In a sense, it’s a lot like Inuyasha, except instead of fighting demons, its elves, and instead of finding jewel shards, its spell pieces.  Oh, and there’s no annoying Kagome.

The show really does have its funny moments and it’s very random.  For example, one of the objects that gets transported to the world with the travels is a military tank that has somehow been infused with the spirit of a cat.  Yes, a cat, mannerisms and all.  So you’ll randomly see this tank acting like a cat.  Things like this spice up the show and make it funny but this certainly isn’t a series that requires a lot of attention from the viewer.

It’s also one of those shows that is separated into two continuous, twelve episode seasons.  I’m not sure why they don’t just make it one, 26 episode series.  I guess people loved the first 12 episodes so much that they just simply HAD to make a second 12 episodes.

All in all, the shows not terrible.  It has  a ton of slapstick comedy in it, so if you’re into that kind of thing, dive right in!  Also, most of the elves are pretty hot so it’s not so bad to see their clothes stripped off! 🙂
