This podcast segment is meant to allow the addicts to opine on what they feel are “The Good, the Bad and the Moe(Ugly)” of anime at that particular moment. Note: Not all suggestions will be used as this short segment will appear sporadically.
To give more information, what we are looking for:
- CURRENT anime related opinions. For example, currently(June 2013), Shingeki no Kyoujin is GOOD. Another example, the Summer 2013 anime season has at least a dozen sequels or spinoffs. This is BAD.
- SPECIFIC points related to anime. For example, rather than saying comedy anime are good, say Anime “X” is good. Rather than saying, all the anime from director X are bad, say the anime Crime Edge is BAD because…
- CONCISE (100 words or less) subjects. Don’t ask for a breakdown of all symbolism in Miyazaki’s new movie (that’s more like a new episode main topic). Say Miyazaki’s new movie has wonderful symbolism relating to X and we should all see it.
It doesn’t have to be only anime you are selecting from. You could mention a news story, a delayed DVD release, a trailer, an arrest, etc… Also, “the moe” isn’t necessarily actually about moe. It’s just a play on words to represent “the ugly” as it is in “the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly”. Ugly being generally something worst than “the bad” or something considerably strange.

The Moe: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
