New Website FAQ

So we made a new website! Here’s what you should know, and here’s the things you may be wondering…

What’s with all the paid content?

This is expanding on our current Patreon options and increasing the ease of use for our supporters to get their exclusive content. You’ll find the regular episodes, reviews, and other such sections of the site that were accessible before to be accessible now.

What’s the biggest change?

Well, we’ll let you decide that… Here’s some of the key changes that were made:

  • New on-site system for accessing supporter content
  • Single log-in between the forums and the website – Register on one and you’re on both
  • You can now comment and engage on the website with your forum name
  • Our reviews section got an upgrade to be more user friendly
  • New chibis on our About page (that’s also Chiaki’s favorite page)

Will Patreon be going away?

That’s not planned as of yet, but we may see how many people move from Patreon to the on-site system. If the majority of the people move we may make that decision, but we’ll announce way in advance. Patreon subscribers will be accessing content through coupon codes supplied. Specific information on how to get the content will be sent to our current Patreon supporters.

If I’m a member on the forums do I need to be a member on the site?

No! You can log in using your forum name and password.

I registered on the website when signing up for a donation tier. Do I still need to register on the forums?

Similarly, no. If you are not already a forum member and you register on the website you get instant access to the forums as well.

Will there be more changes?

Yes, Chiaki already has some ideas for minor updates… She wants to implement a better chat box that spans between the main site and the forums. There are also some forum changes on the horizon to make the integration more seamless. But these changes are likely 4-8 weeks out to see where the needs are.

I found an issue or think I discovered a bug, how do I report it?

The best way is to use the official feedback and bug reporting thread on our forums. This way everyone can see what’s been reported. If you login or register for a free account you can post there.

If you do not have an account you can use our contact form.

Please be as specific as possible as to what the issue is, where it is, and how you encountered it. Please do not contact Chiaki directly on any social media about website bugs or via PMs on the forums. This isn’t because she doesn’t want to talk to you (the opposite is true, actually). This is because the contact form is the best way to get added to her workflow.
