The L33t Str33t Boys
If an anime otaku were to begin a band honoring their fandom it’d likely end up being something like the L33t Str33t Boys. Their debut song in 2007 at Connecticon, “Yuri The Only One” whose lyrics and anime style music video is simply about as awesome as it sounds. The band “…centers around a prep school punk singer (Matt), a metrosexual elf guitarist (Justin), a lesbian healer bassist (Rose) and a fire breathing dragon drummer (D-Dos).” With the name being a spoof on “The Backstreet Boys” you already know these guys are going to rock. In February of this year they released their self titled “LeetStreet Boys” debut album and is currently performing around the North American Convention Circuit.
