Diablo is a made by Blizzard entertainment. Who is best known for there Starcraft and World of warcraft games. Diablo it the story of Demon from hell coming back and tring to take over the world and killing everyone.

Diablo 1 came out in Dec 31 1996, I was orignally being made by some other company (i don't remember the name) as a clayamtion game. However blizzard asked them if they wanted to work for them and the merged with blizzard and became known as Blizzard North.

Diablo 1 is best know for it's crazy set of dungeons. Everytime you would go into the same dungeon after beating the game or making a new game would always be randomly generated. Each dungeon was different from it last one. With this it gave the dungeon crawling exp a great twist and turn during that time not many games had such a random stlye dungeon system that worked if any.

Diablo 1 set the basic story of demons and heaven at war.

In Diablo 1, you had the choice between 3 class to play as each has there prons and cons.

Warrior, Rogue, and Wizard.

If you played a Warrior, you had an easy early game but a harder late game, If you played a Wizard you had a harder early game and an easier late game, and the Rogue was the middle ground.

Diablo also was max level 99, and had 4 setting. the higher the setting the best loot you got. diablo is also knowned for having the gamae set to where if your char dies in the game it is forever gone.

Diablo 1 was also know for it's random loot droping. You never knew what would drop from a boss (but some did have some stable loot liike the frist boss in Diablo The Butcher would always drop the butcher's clever). however you never know what a chest, or a mob, or a crypt would hold. it could be a trap, gold, loot, or nothign at all.

Diablo, Set the standards for years to come for dungeon crawling games to come. Many games has copy'd diablo like Tourch light to name one. (which i haven't played trouched light but i am told it's a diablo clone but still a really damn good game).

Then Came Diablo 2

Diablo 2 came out June 29th 2000.

It was such a great hit. the game added alot more stuff to it.

I may self did not get to paly much diablo due to losing my CD key for the game twice.

However, with diablo they kept to alot of it's roots with the whole dungeon crawl xp, random dungeon genrators. However they did add more class to the game.

Amazon, Necromancer, Barbarian, Sorceress, and Paladin

Diablo 2 also brought in the Rune system which was used for putting crafted rnes into your armor and weapons to give you an added bonus to stuff. more crit dmg, or hp, etc.

With diablo 2 it came out with the Talent system to make your chars more personally, it would allow you to build the char how you like and not be a "Nitch" char as from diablo 1 was. The talent system for diablo was such a sucess they added it there later game World of warcraft.

However with diablo 1 and 2, each class you could only been a make or female depend on which class you picked.


Then Diablo 2 : lords of darkness came out June 29th 2001,

This added more classes to teh game it grow the story line, and added more to the world.

With in this they added two classes.

Assassian, and Druid.

Then there was Diablo 3. it cmae out in may 15th 2012.

Diablo 3 is the story of the protagines (You) working with Laeh, Decker Cain, to stop the great coming that has been prodicted for year. (like real life i know lol) Decker cain being the uncle of leah, took he in as a child and raised her as his own took her around the world studying and reach searching the world about the great coming. Your char is following a thing called the Fallen Star, You end up crossing paths with them very early on. and Now it's up to you to uncover whats going on. What is happening and stop who gets in your way.

Diablo 3, brought a new feeling to the game that has been needed for over 10 years now. Diablo 3 it a bit more open to what you want to choice than the other games.

You can play male or female now as any class (Yay i can play all females now). They also made it more simple to use the UI, and made it easier to control the game.

They game came out with 5 classes,

Demon Hunter, Wizard, Monk, Barbabian, and Witch doctor.

However they did not add a talent system in the game, they added a somewhat kind of system like it. at level 10, 20, 30 you can choose new "Perks" i call them for how you want to play. But they made ti spells easier to understand and use in the game. Each spell set (dfferent names depending on your class) has 6 spell types. the frist two are set to your mouse 1 and 2 bottuns, while the oher 4 are set for your 1 2 3 and 4 number keys. with each spell type there are a total of 5 spell you can pick from. Thse you unlock over time dpeending on your level.

For each spell there are runes, they give your spells a more added flavor of like more dmg, or slow targets down etc. Not like the rune system for Diablo 2 they changed it to the Gem system where gems gives you added hp, or dmg, or crit it would dpend on what gem it was and where you socket it in your armor or weapons.

Diablo 3 is more a strighter game than the alst two. It does have it's random Genrated dungeons, But it not as like it use to be, there is more a liner feel to the game than the last two had. Howeever in the open world you can find many dungeons thats where not there before in the alst time you played. if you stop playing during the game it will sometimes randomness the world with the look, adding or taking dungeons away, mobs and other stuff. you don't HAVE to make a new game to get the random effect.

one thing that is different from Diablo 3 from the last two, max level in diablo 3 is only level 60 and not 99 (no clue why it's that way to be honest).

some people will say Diablo 3 isn't as good as diablo 2 was, but some will say it's better.

Diablo over all is a dungeon crawler game much like if you played a table top rpg. It is not for everyone, and with how games are now of days many people don't like the whole dungeon crawling exp since they feel like it makes the game longer and not worth it in the long run.

However people who are like me who love to explore everything i can possibely find in game for those hidden secerts. if this is you then this if your kind of game other wise it's only worth a one play thru for people who is not willing to go on and become better with there chars and explore.

my overall exp with the diablo seires ahs been an awesome exp for years now for me. I am a D&D table top role player and diablo gives me that D&D feel i enjoy. but like i said it's not for everyone.
