You think that the only way to get into a heaven is to get dipped in water by some human, then go to some man made building and ask nobody in particular to forgive your sins, and that someone who lives the life of a saint otherwise would still be barred?

Why would I, or any other deity, give two fucks about what you do in this life, considering that a persons behaviours here are built by their environment? Why would I bar any person, regardless of their actions, from the holy land that I have made, simply because they did not behave as I wanted them Toni the environment I forced them into. No deity would be so petty.

For future reference may I suggest using civility when you're trying to make a point to someone. The indiviuals that you may be speaking to may be more inclined to be more understanding.

About your statement about God. Are your shure that you're not crafting your views of God in order to accomodate yourself rather than viewing him as he truly is? Often times we humans have the tendency to see or believe what we want to even through the truth may be something completely different.

Throwing the term "Rant" on someones ill-concieved thoughts does not warrant a "pass" for personal attacks or general crass behavior. Nevertheless one would hope some would at least place their rancid thoughts in a pleasant package, so that some could at least admire the good intentions of making content look nice, despite knowing the contents are generally poorly contrived and undesired.

Though really, I feel I am beating a dead horse, and I'm not one for necrophilibeastiality (yewck). Some don't want to adhere to the silly Ideals of a pleasant chat, I can accept that. Also, have you considered that fb is an religion. Think about it. Millions of people are on fb. They communicate contribute to a certain cause and etc to their group of friends or people they know. There are some people who are shocked or angry that someone don't have one. The "creator" of fb is either praised or against it, such as the changes of the new fb, and privacy violations. There are certain privileges like using your fb account as a login, instead of doing the process, or the hundreds of contests that could only be applied through fb.

What's your take on it? Agree or disagree and why?

I do not believe Face Book can be considered a religion.

So you get to go to heaven becuase your a good person.
Let's say someone lives their life as a mass murderer and then realizes there are terrible persons.
This person gets baptized and ask for their forgiveness of sin from God and starts to head to the police station to turn himself in. As soon as he leaves the building he gets run over by a mack truck.
Does he go to hell? By your standards he does not becuase he's not "Good" person and he submits himself to sky wizard.


What defines a good person?
We can't just say you get in heaven because your a good person. That's because what is considered "good" changes over time from human perspective. In the south of USA 200 years ago I'd could be racist and a slave hunter and be considered a "good" person. The human perception of what is "good" is a relative thing.
By what standard can measure what good and what is evil except through something outside ourselves.

But as to what he hasn't covered.

We, or at least I, am not "mad". I however, am dissapointed that people can so openly convey such strong feelings of misguided hatred to those whom they know nothing about, and even less about a concept that they have little understanding of. Moreso when someone asks you(not you specifcally) a polite question in faith that you are mature/intelligent enough to articulate a well thought response.

Though through your own logic you automatically throw the title of "asshole" on any individual whom might believe in a higher power("Asshole" being a belief or a brand of magic in your perspective). Though I have to ask, even if this person does their best to make others happy? Indiscriminate of their good deeds or morals? Isn't this type standard something you destest?

So...by your own logic, you are an Asshole?
