"UUM Yes, Can I have an Grande, Extra Hot, Half-Skinny, Half-One, Whip to the Top, Extra Foam, Quad Split, Carmel Drizzle, Pumpkin Spice Latte? Please?"

I actually don't drink coffee, I don't like it unless its really muted with sugars, creams, and other spices and its more of a note in the overall drink.

Their overpriced cookies are my (and my butt's) downfall...

coffee does need a lot of cream and sugar to make it drinkable, people who drink it black are almost as nutty as this woman hater on survivor.

Here's the short list:

I don't like cookies with raisins in them.

Just about every other cookie I am friends with

Favorites are... Chocolate Chip, Snickerdoodle, Sugar ONLY if it has sprinkles on top, and Mitsugi's Mom's Peanut Butter Cookies... I remember when she'd visit him in the college days and I'd always find an excuse to show up around that time because she'd bake like 3 dozen cookies and I'd sneak some back to my dorm... and by sneak, I mean she'd hand me some.

At Starbucks though I don't normally get cookies. I like the Birthday Cake Pops, Apple Fritters, Rice Krispy Treats and during the fall the Pumpkin Scone!

One thing I did agree on is that the show would've been much better if they made it a 13 episode show with the best scenes.

The Nichijou discussion continues... I just saw that next season there will be "a re-run of the Nichijou TV series, re-edited into a 12-episode version for NHK's ETV channel".
That could be interesting if they would cut out all failed jokes.

You left chiaki wide open to make a joke on how many episodes that should be.

It's not Dragonball Z. It doesn't need a Kai. It's odd, because if you didn't think these jokes worked, why would they be there to start with? I think they could split the show up by taking out the Helvetica Standard bits and making it its own thing. You could also have some sidestories taken out, like the whole "kingdom above the clouds" story or whatever it's really called.

Some scenes of this anime were very funny, others... not so much. This is most likely a cultural difference. I think this show could benefit from a re-edited version. I disliked most of the scenes with the professor, although those with Sakamoto were often funny. I loved the scenes with extreme animation or those side stories like "kingdom above the clouds" as you call it.

But honestly I doubt that they will make a profit with this re-run. I read that the original show didn't do very well in Japan either.
