I would steal a car, buy a hooker, and kill her after receiving her services to get my money back. Then I would use a cheat code to get all the weapons and have a shoot out with the police until the Feds came.

take over half the world (or 1/4 of it )
get people working on terraformation, space travel ,energy and medical research ,robotics
alleviate peoples hardships with free medical care ,electricity, gas,high quality education
build world wonders and have a well maintained infrastructure
make movies and animation
not necessarily in that order

I never really liked pokemon. If I caught them all I would hypnosis James to shave Jesse's hair and order all my pokemons to kill all the trainers and their promoters.
