Japan Trip 2013 ^_^

Hey everybody, I'm saving up to take a 2-week trip to Japan in 2013, and I wondering if anyone here wanted to share some places that i should definitely go, sights i must see, etc etc. Also for anyone interested, i'd love to go in a group, so if anyone wants to meet up in California and go over to Japan and split the cost of a hotel room, let me know! I have 2 people from my job that said they wanted to join me, and i'm opening it up to all my forum peeps

I didn't know your panel was on the site til now. It's pretty cool, wish we had the audio as well.

But thinking about it now, I probably wont be able to go to japan with my close friends. Most of them aren't really interested in going; and the one who was told me earlier this year that he was changing his career plans and wont have the money for a trip to japan for at least 5 years....

So my only alternatives seem to be: make new friends with ppl who are also dying to visit japan or win the lottery and pay for everyone myself.

I guess this is a new option.

Sounds interesting, hah, If all works out I'll be in Tsukaba(or Tokyo, haven't decided...) in a study abroad program in 2013. So, inadvertently, I'm in XD

i would go but i would need an estimate of how much it would cost and about when it would happen

At the moment, i'm planning for August of 2013, however, i am not 100% sure of what the price would be.

I'll post in this thread the cost estimate as soon as i know

Make sure you go to an Onsen when you are there. Believe me or not it will relax you. Its like soaking in a hot bath, but better cause its Japanese.
