T-bar, one can never be too old to better themselves. I applaud the fact that you turned to school as an alternative to looking for another job. Good luck!
And remember, being a lady of the night is always an alternative.

Mikhail wrote:well guys today just seems to be my day to fall apart at the seems. the triger was a real crappy night at work, i mean i should have know it was going to be a crap night due to the fact i walked in there in such a good mood. Well it all started with one of the waitresses coming in before her shift and getting food, now she does this normally so it wasnt a surprise. what was a surprise was she took a previous lunch special from the week before and wanted me to make it for her. she didnt even ask she just rang it in and expected me to jump and do it. now there was only one other ticket hanging so i figured what the hell ill do it. she wanted a panini with sourdough bread with pesto mayo, roasted red peppers, egplant, squash and zuccini with mozzarella cheese. at this point i also found out we had do appatizer service for a party of 25 for 1 hour and the chef thought we had enough food for the party which we really didnt so more stress there. so im getting more tickets now for customers and making her sandwich from scratch mind you no shortcuts. so guess what she says to me........well if you guessed she said whats taking so long for my sandwich im hungry in a real annoyed voice youd be right. she ordered a special sandwich off the menu and expected it like freaking McDonalds. i mean the anger didnt really hit me untill after i was told that a bartender was blaming all his mistakes on the kitchen staff and me that i realized what asses i work with.
I havent been running on all 8 cylinders lately since one of my cousins passed away due to drug use and another was put in a rehab for drug abuse. now im not going to go on a big anti-drug rant because i dont have the energy from lack of sleep and i dont think it would really matter. I just pray for them both and wait for the day i have to remind my cousins 2 children what a good person she was because they were too young to remember their mother.
I treated it like a big joke i. mean everybody knows thanksgiving has one of the highest probabilities of somebody's house catching fire well not just thanksgiving but the whole Holiday season. Well at 1pm est on thanksgiving i was toned out for my first structure firethe ride their was intense and the whole way there we siked eachother up to prepare ourselves to do what we needed to do .......to be superman if we needed to i guess is the best way to describe it. well i came face to face with the beast as i watched it outside on the lawn i wasnt afraid though there was too much adrenaline moving in me for that. but eventually that all faded away when i saw a familiar figure running onto the fire ground. his name is pop's everyone in town knows him because he help with high school wrestling, football, pop warner and many other things. it was his house on fire his life that was affected.......ive never felt so helpless in my life. he was taken to the hospital after he collapsed on the ground. while no one died in the fire his house was totaled even though it still stands, and there were 4 dogs that didnt make it out. one of my best friends went into the house as an overhaul crew and found 2 of them what he saw made me cry.
your probably asking why im telling you all this well right now i have no one that really wants to listen or maybe i put up such a barrier that noone knows my real feelings. maybe i need to vent. maybe im afraid if i try to treat my problems with a vodka bottle i wont find my way out.
Im sorry if any of this upsets you its been a bad few weeks and im just trying to cope.

In the dream I lived across the hall from Chiaki and Mitsugi. M-dawg called me up to get some advice on pull-ups and chin-ups, so I told him I'd be right over. Chiaki opens the door to their place, but while standard door height, the width of the door and door frame was about 6 feet wide. All of the doors in their place were like that, but all the doors in my place were normal (okay subconscious, why am I dreaming about super wide doors?). But instead of working out right away, we decided to eat. Chiaki had made chicken stuffed with vermicelli noodles, which tasted delicious in my dream (I think I was chewing on my pillow). There was a knock on the overly wide door, the rest of the hosts had arrived. But before we could open the door, my alarm went off.
