Okay so just this past weekend while on the computer and surfing the internet my computer just random shut off. Why did this happen well I turn my computer back on and it says CPU over heat press F1 to resume so what do I do hit F1 my computer turns back on okay so all is well other than the fact that my computer is excruciatingly slow. Then while preparing to log in to skype to do the RRFDP podcast my computer shut down again for the same reason however this time when I press F1 the computer tell me that a disk read error has occurred and to press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart when doing this the same screen pop's up. So using my iTouch i go on google and try a bunch of different methods to get my computer to work to no avail. So how did I finally resolve this issue booting from the Window's disk and reinstalling Window YEAH!!!!!! Now all my information is gone half my anime is gone, all my itunes music, my person preferences EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!! ARG!!!!!!!!!! However a bright side has appeared while everything is gone I still have my external hard drive with some of my anime and also because of the reinstall my computer can handle my 720p and 1080p anime again without skipping/freezing
I have now bought an air can and cleared all the dust from my pc so that it doesn't overheat again
