Defending bad shows that you love

Have you ever watched a show you know is bad ,or at least is not the greatest, and then started feeling defensive towards the show. For example i've kinda developed a guilty pleasure for Sekirei (To the point in wich I own both seasons >_>), and I know Sekirei isn't a very good show by regular anime standards, But when I see or hear somone talk smack about it I kinda get a little upset and start to defend the better qualities of the show. "Sekirei is not T and A i swear the characters a really likable, and it has a decent plot with some action!" LoL just to give you an idea of what I mean. I find myself doing this with Upotte! most recently as well... I think it may be a matter of perspective. Like art dosen't always look like art depending on who is vewing it, or another mans trash is another mans treasure. Also People tend to also associate you with said show when you try to defend it. Like "Oh so you like these types of shows..." As if liking one bad show suddenly means all you like to watch are bad shows. Anyway what shows do you love or enjoy even though their not the geatest, and in what way do you deffend them. sorry for the long post .

Steel Angel Kurumi. Total garbage, but I purchased it knowing full well what it was, and I don't regret it. Except for the one DVD that ADV authored badly.

Acchi Kocchi is an anime that i know sucks! But im drawn to it for some reason haha at least its almost over (i think) or i hope so. I dont know how much i can actually defend this anime lol its getting to that point to where im losing interest...who knows?

I must say, I feel that way about Shugo Chara. My anime friends are all "Ew, you like that faerie character crap?" And I'm all "SHUTUPITSADECENTSHOW!!" But the problem is...It's not.

Star Driver was a beloved hated anime. I love it because of how bad it went. I could totally visualize it go down in a constant spiral; unlike some anime that are inconstant in their crappiness.

I actually, legitimately like that show, probably because I love Lucky Star, Sket Dance and Gintama. Their crazy humor tickle my humor bones. It is humerus. lol

Sket Dance is my favorite anime ever! Though im finding out that lots of other people dont like it... oh well

Sket dance was fun for about 10 episodes, then I felt like I've had enough. I wouldn't call it a bad show, but I wouldn't call it a good one either. If I saw it while flipping channels and saw it I'd watch it, but I'm not going out of my way for it. It goes in the same category as evening sitcoms. Better things to watch that I've never seen.

I love To Heart season 2, Remember My Memories to death. It's full of some of the most cliche melodrama you can have, but I just eat it up.
You know how some shows will play the opening theme during the last episode during the climax for dramatic effect? Well Remember my Memories does it every single episode, and it's awesome every time.
