Space Brothers episode 5:
The story didn't progress in this episode, but I don't care. This feels like last season's Bakuman to me, as long as the characters are fun to watch I don't care what they're doing. So Mutta is visiting his brother Hibito in Houston, but feels reluctant to go with him to NASA.

I can very much sympathize with Mutta, because I also have a younger brother who surpassed me in most things (except in studying hehe). This episode was again full of things showing Hibito to be better than his brother. For some reason it's fun to watch an underdog character like him, that's also why I enjoyed watching Tiger & Bunny.
Don't get me wrong, not all underdog characters are interesting. Accel World's protagonist really ruined the show for me, I get irritated by everything he does.

But not Mutta. Like Mitsugi said before, he is well written and that makes the show so good.

I love this series so far =D What i'm expecting to happen is that they will end up killing the big brute of Orchestra and maybe recruit the girl. I really like her and want to see her join their squad =o

Sorry to ruin this for you Rekka but I wouldn't think they do that since they are assassins out to kill Koko. Also remember that girl likes that guy with shark teeth as a father/role model.
Jormungand episode 4:
I didn't like this episode, it continued to irritate me. Here's a list:

The gunfight after the OP was full of tv tropes. With those guns they were using at that short range there's no way they would keep missing. Also, CARS DON'T REFLECT BULLETS. And when they finally killed the guy with a headshot, they couldn't kill the girl BECAUSE SHE'S A GIRL? Oh come on, that's the most lame excuse I've ever heard. If someone swears they will kill you sooner or later you'd better take the initiative.
WHY DID THAT GUY KICK JONAH INTO THE SEA? Just a really bad way of showing he is not a nice guy I guess?
Being able to shoot better with no panties on is also a very dumb excuse for fanservice.
How could they know she would come on that roof? Because then the story would be easier to resolve.

Sigh.
Jormungand

This was a pretty fast episode. I mean, it didn't involve much at all, just a conclusion for the first half.
Now I am noticing the lack of 'character development'. I am thinking that this series will not go further with the team other than Valmet, Lehm, Koko and Jonah dialogue-and-backstory wise (The first two I had to replay an episode to remember their names since they have nothing worth remembering.)
OH BOY, time to discuss my knowledge and discuss things. You are drinking haterade with this logic Yupa: Cars don't reflect bullets. That's true but bullets RICOCHET off them. Shooting guns/projectiles up close while driving: Coriolis Effect; read up. They didn't kill the girl because of Lutz' backstory (which I already addressed my complaint with that). Scarecrow kicked Jonah because he thinks he is above the law (he gets jailed for making a bad publicity of the justice department in that country) and is acting like a stereotypical American agent (hint: guy said "Oh, an American" ). Lastly, Three days later=the time Jesus Christ revived, a very subtle note to take in. Rooftops are indeed a cliche' but seriously, she can walk into the lobby with a gun(s) where security is especially placed by the Police to keep Koko and her team in house/hotel arrest. Now I know it would be a fanservice to have that character wear no underwear but remember, every character is a f***ed up psychopath even Koko.
Space Brothers

This anime is getting good bit by bit. I am liking how Mutto is just a loveable and almost believable character (A grown man running away from a dog, don't see that around my area). Hibito was not bad of a character as well. Overall, this is a character development episode, not much to say.
Let's see what the Zidane'd chairman will do to ruin Mutto
Jormungand:
Yeah, I was very much hating on the show in my last post, wasn't I? My frustration probably comes from that I find the characters not believable, not a single one of them. I mean, why would a girl start to work with the guy who just killed her parents? Not even the Stockholm syndrome would drive someone to do that.
Scarecrow definately is one of the worst stereotypical characters you can find.

I really want to like this show, but then they really should start working on the characters instead of using them only for the action.
Jormungand, to me, is an action anime that isn't too deep in plot and characters other than Koko and Jonah from the 4 episodes it has aired. I have looked at some info that there is a manga of this show, so probably there is more depth to the characters than in the anime adaptation but that's just false hope. So in all, this is a good anime for action junkies like myself while other people may think very too deep into the story and hate it.
This anime is probably going to be episodic since there is no main plot other than the adventures of the team.
only thing I have to add is that with Koko s 24/7 smile Jonahs emotionlessness and the groups being pros there is no sense of danger
I was surprised that the girl got killed all the signs said she would join

Yupa, I don't think an anime has to be "believable" to be good XD It would be kind of boring in that case actually, although I wouldn't say this anime is too terribly far fetched.
The thing that interested me most was what Koko whispered to the girl at the very end, it seems like she has big plans to do something "horrible"
my money is on that she wants to get back at her father and/or get merc cred . buy a fake nuke and fire it to show the world/people that weapons are dangerous in the wrong hands or some such shit or there may not be an overall plot only small arcs
